Chronologs are a citizen science project used by many environmental agencies to capture the change in the environment over time. Conservancy of the Sea Islands has three Chronolog stations at the Naturally Kiawah Demonstration Garden, Marsh Island Park, and Falcon Point Nature Area. These stations help us monitor the change in vegetation and presence of wildlife over time.
If you are interested in helping the Conservancy with these, simply follow the steps on the Chronolog plaque to get involved. You can view the timelapses produced by these stations here.
