Come together with your neighbors and friends and jump in for the 7th Annual Michael and Pam Wilson Plastic-Free Waters Sweep!
DATE: Saturday, Sept 19
TIME: 9 AM to 12 PM
LOCATION: Night Heron Park, Kiawah Island
Together we’ll clear debris, protect wildlife, and help keep the landscape beautiful–no experience needed, just bring your energy! All pickup materials will be provided. We suggest bringing your reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Bug spray and sunscreen are always recommended.
If coming from off-island, tell gate security that you’re joining the litter sweep at Night Heron Park to receive a visitor’s pass. The group will meet near Heron Park Nature Center.
This local tradition is part of the annual South Carolina Beach Sweep River Sweep and International Coastal Cleanup. Let’s turn the tide on trash and make this our most impactful cleanup yet!
