Visit a Conservancy of the Sea Islands Property – Go out into nature and explore Kiawah’s natural habitats by visiting one of our preserved properties that is accessible to the public. These include:
- Marsh Island Park
- Maritime Forest Preserve
- The Naturally Kiawah Demonstration Garden in Night Heron Park
- Rhett’s Bluff Nature Area

Check a Few Items off your Kiawah Island Bucket List – From watching the dolphins strand feed to seeing the sunset over the marsh, check out our list of must-do Kiawah nature experiences.
Volunteer in Environmental Efforts – Consider signing up to volunteer with the Conservancy of the Sea Islands and help protect wildlife. You could also consider volunteering with the Kiawah Island Shorebird Stewards, Kiawah Island Turtle Patrol, or the Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network.
Visit our Chronolog Stations – Contribute to our Chronolog Stations located in three different areas on the island. Snapping a photo will add to a time-lapse video which will then guide environmental efforts in that area.
